**ABOUT THE DIVISION AND BRANCH**
The Ministerial and Parliamentary Services (MaPS) Division in Finance provides Ministers, Senators, Members and Office-holders and former Parliamentarians and their respective employees employed under the _Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984_ with a range of facilities and services to assist them in undertaking their duties.
The Parliamentary Business Resources (PBR) Framework Branch within MaPS is responsible for policy development and advice in relation to parliamentarians' work expenses and the delivery of services, including administration of office expenses, office accommodation, and support.
The PBR Framework Branch has a presence in the Commonwealth Parliament Offices (CPO) in each state and territory capital and manages the provision of services at these facilities.

**ABOUT THE** OPPORTUNITY**
We are looking for an executive-level service/project delivery professional interested in leading a busy section, providing facilities and services to parliamentarians, including office accommodation and property services, equipment and vehicles. You will work closely with the Director, Capital and Security Projects, and other colleagues across the Division and department, and assist the team to maintain productive relationships with Ministers and their offices.
Responsibilities may include:
- Delivering high quality advice and support, stakeholder management, and business optimisation and improvement in managing the provision of office accommodation and property services, equipment and vehicles to parliamentarians, in accordance with the requirements of the Parliamentary Business Resources framework
- Drafting high quality and timeline briefs and correspondence for Minister’s offices and senior executives
- Contributing to reform work for Finance, including anticipated Machinery of Government changes
- Supervising, guiding and mentoring State Managers.

- Successful applicants will be required to undergo the process to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold the required security clearance level for the role as indicated in the downloadable job pack. All Finance staff are required to have a minimum baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
- This role is being filled as a specified term vacancy for an initial period of up to 18 months. Specified term vacancies may be extended up to a maximum period of three years.
