ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

THE POSITION

Based on site, this role is responsible for driving compliance and process evolution to our labour budgets in the ESS Offshore & Remote Business supporting operations to make forecasted accurate and financially impacting decisions based on the actioning and day to day management of the Workforce Plan. With Forecasts on labour demand and labour supply, Trend Analysis, Gap Analysis and Scenario building of ideas and initiatives to ensure maximum financial returns or large-scale cost mitigation actions are highlighted, actioned, and achieved.

THE PERSON
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop teams, with an emphasis on fostering growth, diversity, and inclusion.
- Proven track record of extracting actionable insights from complex data sets, with the ability to convert analytics into real-world solutions.
- Experience in working with roster to pay labour systems such as Deputy
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, with an openness to learning and navigating multiple digital platforms as part of day-to-day tasks
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, with the ability to create, interpret, and share dashboards and reports
- Proven experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their buy-in, and managing change initiatives effectively.
