Business Support Coordinator

QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.About the role
You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing exceptional administration coordination. Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and coach a team of administrative staff in their daily duties and responsibilities by providing effective supervision, performance management, training and support. Provide a high level of administrative support to the section and category managers, including research, preparation and actioning of correspondence. Provide a central point of contact for the provision of quality information to regional staff on a range of financial, information management, records management and other administrative issues. Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to QBuild customers including coordinating responses to escalated customer queries, ensuring a high-quality service through the use of interpersonal skills including negotiation, and dispute resolution. Operate effectively as a critical support position to the section contributing to a high standard of service delivery and achievement of business outcomes, including program delivery. Develop and implement administrative processes that support improved work order management and service delivery. - Prepare, monitor and maintain various reports required by the business and coordinate the sections reporting and work management activities. - Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
**Required Skills and Experience**:
Excellent attention to detail and articulated communication skills are essential. Experience required in administrative duties, customer service and overseeing other administrative staff.
