**The Role**:
**Where you fit in**

The Prelude FLNG facility is stationed northeast of Broome, Western Australia, in Australian Commonwealth waters. The Prelude FLNG operation comprises sub-sea wells tied back to an FLNG facility encompassing gas processing and liquefaction through to LNG/LPG/Condensate storage and offloading, along with the requisite supporting marine and utilities facilities.

The Offshore Installation Manager role covers all facilities from the sandface completion to the loading arm and the associated operations within the zone.

**What’s the role?**

You will be accountable for leading the offshore Prelude operation within the boundaries of the Safety Case, respective legislation and business plan.

Your accountabilities include:

- Safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient operation of the Prelude offshore facilities
- Competent as an Incident Management Team Leader and responsible for maintaining emergency response capability for the facility
- Responsible for the asset integrity, ensuring cumulative risk is understood and controls incorporated into the safe delivery of the operation
- Championing and provide leadership of a high-performing generative offshore safety culture across both contact and own staff, delivering Goal Zero
- Responsible for maintaining the organisational competency, capability and succession planning for the offshore Operations organisation
- Leading, supporting and coaching to embed Shell’s D&I aspirations recognizing and advocating the necessity of diversity and Respect for a successful business.
- Responsible for delivery of the agreed integrated activity plan
- Responsible for the Operations execution elements of Turnaround and Pitstop events
- Leading the offshore learner mindset culture to drive continuous improvement

**What we need from you**

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- In depth knowledge of safety management systems, emergency response, operations, marine and aviation logistics, contracts and contractor management, fundamentals of industrial relations, project planning and reporting
- Knowledge and experience of Operations particularly in gas/LNG production & processing, LNG/LPG storage and loading, FPSO operations, subsea wells and systems, steam and power generation systems, DCS instrumentation, and related systems
- Highly effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and direct as appropriate, both at multiple levels in the organisation and external
- Relevant experience in change management, people management and staff development; Outstanding leadership skills and ability to develop, motivate, coach and maintain a high performing team
- Proactive and visible HSSE leadership, demonstrating commitment to safety through language, behaviours and actions
- Assured competence in the management of major emergencies; Demonstrated experience to deliver a culture of operational discipline in a major hazards environment
- Manage multiple and complex problems, with solutions that integrate with the wider organisation
- Deliver a respectful environment where people are being heard, cared, and equipped for success in the attainment of team goals, encouraging and leading continuous improvement
- Demonstrate resilience under challenging operational conditions
- Demonstrated commitment to D&I and a proven track record in supporting D&I agenda
