**Get paid to study and take your physics and maths out of the classroom and into the real world**
Work as a graduate meteorologist through a 10-month intensive formal training program from early February to late November 2024.

You'll learn how to:

- analyse and interpret meteorological data sources and numerical weather prediction model output to forecast atmospheric conditions.

You'll be able to transform studied theoretical knowledge into a solid foundation of skills on which to use to build your career.

Learn from some of Australia's leading scientists as you develop a deep knowledge of services for severe weather, marine and Antarctic environments, climate, water and volcanic ash prediction. A day in this role can include preparing and communicating weather forecasts for the public as well as specific users such as the emergency services sector.
