**Primary Responsibilities**

In the role of Associate Director - Electrical, we'll count on you to:

- Function as Project Lead and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities
- Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
- Support daily operations of construction projects, such as providing engineering expertise and project oversight, managing project quality control and quality assurance for assigned construction projects, managing inspection services, monitoring required construction training certification status and safety requirements, and managing project staff.
- See that all work is planned, organised, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system.
- Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
- Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff.
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
- Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
- Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule.
- Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers
- Implement, monitor and support company policy.
- Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel.
- Manage and develop multidiscipline teams.
- Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.
- Maintain excellent client relationships and contribute to developing new business opportunities.
- Perform other duties as needed.

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical,) or equivalent
- 10 years related experience.
- Relevant Project management experience
- Professional registration or license
- Strong communication and active-listening skills
- MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
- Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
