Mechanical Fitter

**About the role**

Ventia has a long-standing partnership with Qenos, and we are seeking several experienced & qualified Mechanical Fitters to join a shutdown for casual work at their Altona Facility.

The primary purpose of this role is to is to work as part of a maintenance team to contribute to all field service work conducted in designated areas of responsibility. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, the successful applicant will work collaboratively within an effective team whilst following all safety procedures, with a focus on continuous improvement

**About you**
- A proactive, motivated mindset, someone who thrives when working under pressure.
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
- Working at Heights valid within 2 years (mandatory)
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces valid within 2 years (mandatory)
- High Risk License
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical including D&A
- Current Driver’s License

**Desirable Skills**
- Experience in Flange Management
- Previous shutdown experience
- Elevated Work Platform
- Current First Aid certificate
