**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Boilermaker at HMI in Seventeen Mile Rocks, QLD. Responsibilities include welding, TIG welding, oxy-acetylene cutting, Engineering drawing reading, and metal fabrication. The Boilermaker will work on tasks related to brazing Tungsten Carbide Tiles, designing drill tooling, and refurbishing geotechnical drill heads and tooling. Experience a constant variety of work and required skills to be used as you work as part of a versatile and cohesive team, not stuck in a welding bay all day.
- 7-3:30 Monday - Thursday
- 6-12 early finish Fridays
- Flexibility and overtime available

**Required Qualifications**
- Welding, TIG Welding, and Oxy-acetylene skills
- Engineering Drawing Reading and Metal Fabrication knowledge
- Previous experience in refurbishing geotechnical drill heads
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Relevant trade certification or qualification in boilermaking

**Preferable Skills**
- Experience in brazing Tungsten Carbide Tiles, buttons and Diamond cutters
- Ability to design and engineer drill tooling
- Forklift License
- Base Knowledge of drilling Operations

Pay: $43.00 - $47.00 per hour
