Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced **Clerical Supervisor** to join our **Molecular Imaging and Therapy Department (MIT). **The department has 4 core service components: Nuclear Medicine Imaging, Radionuclide Therapy, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and Bone Densitometry. The department also produces radioisotopes on site by the in-house cyclotron(s) and radiochemistry and QC laboratories, and undertakes a wide range of research studies.

**Position requirements**:

- **Manage a team of 6 - 10 staff members**:

- **Booking Management and intimate knowledge of RIS, EI8**:

- **Front reception service delivery**:

- **Experience in managing radionculide therapy clinic administrative functions**:

- **Billing procedures**:

- **Quality, Safety and Risk Management of clerical team**:

- **Contact person for Internal / External Stakeholders for bookings related enquiries**:

- **Management of office supplies and equipment**:

- **Incident / Complaint follow up with regard to clerical services**

**To be successful in this role you must demonstrate**:

- **Patient / customer focused approach to care delivery**:

- **Experience in working in the adminsitrative space of a Nuclear Medicine Service**:

- **Demonstrated Leadership skills and experience**:

- **Experience in managing a team of minimum 5-10 staff**:

- **Knowledge of medical information systems**:

- **Knowledge of medical terminology**:

- **Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills**:

- **Ability to problem solve in a variety of situations**:

- **Demonstrated high level time management and prioritisation skills**:

- **Demonstrated experience in change management**:

- **Understanding of quality improvement principles**:

- **Experience in managing a medical / imaging office, patient accounts, or knowledge of medical imaging Medicare billing processes will be also be highly regarded.
