**The Role**
This is a role for someone passionate about achieving education and learning outcomes. You will drive stakeholder engagement with the schools sector through collecting business insights across assurance activities. You will support the internal and external stakeholders by connecting the dots and achieving a solution by designing effective and impactful communication channels, tools and training products that drive understanding of key messages and intent. The work is varied and fulfilling, and you will see the tangible outcomes of your work by helping the Department uplift the capacity and capability of the schools sector in meeting their requirements under the Act and the _Australian Education Regulations 2023_.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the EL1 Engagement and Education Lead may include:

- Capture, co-ordinate, organise and drive the engagement, education and communication to support the department’s assurance framework.
- Support the Director to build a shared vision and strategy for the assurance engagement, education and communication internally and externally.
- Conduct trend analysis on stakeholder engagement across the sector and review feedback to gather insights, and to build lessons learnt and recommendations for actions.
- Lead and design the dissemination of tools and resources that clearly and concisely communicate requirements and build awareness across the sector and support the evaluation activities to gain insights and build lesson learnt into future policy considerations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with impacted internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality assure the work outputs of the team and report on team progress against set targets to the Director and other executive leaders.
- Lead and deliver program management including preparation for program closure activities, assuring program documentation/record-keeping, manage risks and sensitivities, and finalise briefs, minutes and correspondence for a broad range of audience.
