**About the team**:
Coles Express has recently been acquired by Viva Energy Retail, Australia’s largest single branded convenience and retail network.

Viva Energy Retail is a mobility and convenience division of Viva Energy Australia with a high-quality national network of fuel and convenience stores located in metro, regional and on main transport routes, and provides an advantaged position to serve the on-road and local suburban convenience markets.

**About the role**:
The Communications Lead is responsible for working cross functionally across the Viva Energy Retail business, owning internal communication to all Viva Energy Retail team members (sites and SSC) and supporting the community engagement strategy of the business.

You’ll also:

- Bring design expertise to the team in all site level communications - communications templates, workbooks, site posters, training materials
- Support the Operations team to plan engaging and targeted communications for site team members and above site teams
- Develop future plans to digitise engagement across the business
- Manage the development, communication and relevancy of all policies and procedures for site teams
- Ensure communications meet brand standards and are linked to the Viva Energy Retail Values and Purpose
- Support the planning and execution of Operations engagement events for the field leadership team

**About you and your skills**:
You are a strong communicator with experience in writing communications as well as strong graphic design skills and experience.

You’ll also have:

- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of business processes, product knowledge and brand proposition
- Experience with Site Operations and Team/Customer engagement techniques
- Has proven experience in working cross functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Must have proven ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated experience of achieving results through engaging people
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills across the Microsoft software suite including Excel and PowerPoint and Word
