- About the business_

We are family run boat building business specialising in commercial aluminium vessels usually between 10-12m. We work locally in Henderson - No FIFO, No working away. We work 10 hours Monday - Thursday giving you a 3 day weekend for you to enjoy. (overtime is also available) If you enjoy fishing, boating or camping this might the role for you.
- About the role_

We are looking qualified first class welders, boat builders, sheet metal or boilermakers to join our team to ensure we meet the demands of our expanding business. The role will be part of a dynamic team to manufacture purpose built aluminium boats of superior quality in a close-knit environment.

**Qualifications & experience**:
Competent in welding aluminium from 3mm to 12mm sheets

Capable of reading & understanding drawings

Trade qualifications would be an advantage but not essential

Working knowledge of tools used in the trade

Can work independently and have strong attention to detail

**Tasks & responsibilities**:
Welding of Aluminium Boat Building (TIG & MIG)

Work towards and maintain production in allocated time frames

Use power tools and workshop equipment

Produce neat and quality welds daily

New Vessel Construction

Commercial vessel refit and repair

Keep time sheets for work completed

Adaptable to learn new things & work well in a team

All shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a weld test.

**Salary**: $72,800.00 - $83,200.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- HENDERSON, WA 6166: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
