**The Role**:
Our Survey department is looking for a **Consulting Cadastral Surveyor **who is capable of working autonomously, mentoring junior surveyors and advancing into an executive role.

You can expect to start on:

- A base salary of $120,000 p/a + superannuation + work vehicle.
- With bonuses, you could **earn $180,000 p/a + super + car **(Potential salary $198k+).
- Scheduled and guaranteed annual pay increases.

**Your career progression at Hillocc**:
**Consulting Cadastral Surveyor > Survey Manager > Chief Operations Officer (COO)**

Whilst we’re looking for an individual with leadership potential, you will receive one-on-one mentoring directly from the company's CEO and Survey Manager, both of whom are highly regarded Consulting Cadastral Surveyors (Licensed Surveyors) in the state of Queensland.

**Key Responsibilities***:
**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Perform Cadastral, Construction and Spatial Surveys
- Conduct Detail / Topographic Surveys / Building Setouts
- Liaise with clients, site supervisors and other on-site staff
- Perform and interpret survey calculations
- Prepare Survey sketches for drafting department
- Mentor junior surveying staff
- Contribute to company-level decision making

**Skills & Experience***:

- Bachelor degree in Surveying
- Consulting Cadastral endorsement with the Surveyors Board of Queensland
(_or ability to become registered if interstate_)
- Fit to carry out both field and office duties
- Efficient time management
- Ability to operate autonomously
- Good computer knowledge and technical problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication style
- Methodical and have an eye for detail
- Open vehicle licence
- Ambition to self-develop and advance within the company

**The Following Would Be Desirable**:

- 3 Years with Consulting Cadastral Endorsement
