My Client are a reputable Builder who deliver new-build projects within the Commercial space across the Leisure, Education, Commercial, Infrastructure, Industrial and Retail sectors throughout Australia & New Zealand.

They've got a great financial backing ensuring job & project security, a great range of projects for you to be exposed to and a fantastic team of directors, and experienced people within the business.

**About you**:

- 2+ years as a HSE Advisor on Commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of WH&S Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards
- Proven ability to be diligent, organised and can delegate where necessary
- Passionate about safety and care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

**The duties, but not limited to**:

- Support the project team and workers to eliminate or minimize hazards
- Educate and implement site workers on hazard identification
- Carry out and deliver project consultation processes including; site inductions, pre-start, and toolbox meetings
- Recommend corrective/preventive actions to prevent hazards from escalating into incidents
- Support the Project Manager by identifying any additional WHSE training
- Assist the project team in building a strong safety culture
- Assist with the preparation, development and review of construction methodology and SWMS
- Liaise with subcontractors, arrange audits and inspections of work areas and activities
- Review on-site work practices, materials conditions, plant and equipment and identify WHSE hazards
- Review any permits to work issued and ensure compliance with legal, organizational and WHSE requirements
