A local defence & technology company is seeking a Corporate Publishing Officer

**Your new role**

As a Corporate Publishing Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the company's corporate image through compelling written materials. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams, including marketing, communications, and executive leadership, to create engaging content that effectively communicates their mission, values, and achievements. From crafting captivating press releases and articles to editing technical documentation and corporate reports, your words will have a powerful impact on how this company is perceived.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop and write engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and internal communications.
- Edit and proofread a wide range of documents, ensuring consistency, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Conduct thorough research to support content development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
- Assist in the production of marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and case studies.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's style guide and content library.
- Stay informed about company products, projects, and accomplishments to effectively communicate key messages.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Please note, to be successful in this role, you will have the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance.
- A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate writing, publishing, or a similar role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail and a strong command of grammar.
- Excellent research abilities and the capacity to understand and translate technical information into clear, concise language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with content management systems.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative mindset and the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of defence and technology industries is advantageous but not essential.
