The Group has an extensive track record spanning almost four decades across a wide range of commodities. Our teams have deep expertise in the mining, minerals and metals processing industries, as well as related non-process infrastructure such as, water, and energy solutions.

DRA covers all major mining centres with offices across Africa and the Middle East, North and South America, Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

Currently seeking an Experienced or Senior Designer. The role is offered on an ongoing casual basis based in the Brisbane CBD office. You will be involved with a diverse range of projects from concept studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning and ongoing operations within the mining and minerals processing sector.

**Brief Duties**:

- Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures
- Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings
- Deliver and contribute to practical solutions
- Ensure project time and cost are met - monitor effectiveness of designs, scheduling of work, resource requirements and review compliance with project execution plan (schedule) and client expectations
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members
- Demonstrate high standard of personal safety and safe design practices

**About You**:

- 5+ years relevant experience working on mining and minerals projects
- Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety
- Proficiency in MicroStation design software highly desirable
- Relevant Diploma or Associate Degree
- Innovative thinker with the ability to work autonomously to deadlines
