A leading government agency is on the lookout for a Data Governance specialist to join the highly motivated and engaging Data Management team.

**Your new role**

The Data Governance specialist supports the implementation and maturing of our Data Governance capabilities across the agency. You will support and extend the use of Data Management tools that manage our metadata, data lineage and data quality.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Sound knowledge of data analysis, knowing SQL is an advantage, advanced Excel, to cleanse and manipulate data, and/or build reports
- Hands on experience in Data Mining, built or defined Data Quality rules in a line of business either writing SQL Scripts or using tools such as Informatica Data Quality
- Working experience across data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts
- Detailed creation and maintenance of data dictionaries, management of metadata, and/or maintenance of master and reference data
- IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) a plus
