**Overview**:
**See yourself in our team**:
As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the SA Operations, acting as a Subject Matter Expert for internal stakeholders. You will additionally be acting as a technical reference point & providing coaching and advice in accordance with local legislation and business unit procedures.

**How you'll make an impact**:
**On a day to day basis you will**:

- Provide high quality, face to face wherever possible, customer service and technical support to claims teams about the claim management process in line with legislation and best practice guidelines;
- Assisting the claims teams in their achievement of KPIs & Service guidelines by;
- Guiding, advising and assisting stakeholders who require specialist technical assistance;
- Providing claims strategy recommendations;
- Undertaking adverse decision quality reviews and endorsements;
- Appropriately escalating claims for formal investigation as required;
- Working closely with the internal stakeholders to produce a return to work or review of entitlements;
- Ensuring outcomes are effectively communicated and actioned within specified timeframes;
- Review and provide feedback about current claim management practices and procedures ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed.

**About you**:
**We are interested in hearing from people who have**:

- Demonstrated technical claims management experience;
- Knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 and associated case law and developed technical knowledge regarding claims strategies
- Experience in coaching and supporting others
- Previous experience as a technical specialist within all claim management segments
