Material Handler

Reporting to the** Operations Supervisor**, the **Material Handler** will be responsible for assisting with the busy workload to meet the required deadlines and schedules. As a Material Handler, you will work on a variety of tasks, including but not limited to wrapping and strapping of items, washing machines in the wash pad, loading and unloading machines, vehicle pre-starts, traffic management with transporting machines from perth branch to flexi parts, cross checking gate releases, assisting with storage of attachments and spotting machine movements on site.

**Location**: Perth Airport 6105
**Rosters**:5 days on, 2 days off (Monday to Friday) - 10 hours each day

Other duties will include the following:

- In charge of Loading and Unloading Machines from Floats / Trailers / Containers
- Spotting Machine Movements
- Assisting with traffic on site
- General Yard Duties inclusive of cleaning yard
- Pre-Start checks
- Assisting other departments as required
- Load Checking

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Forklift ticket required, with experience
- Yard/trades assistant experience
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously
- Experience working with machinery would be desirable
- Can-do attitude
- Able to work in all conditions (outside based role)
- Safety Awareness
