**About our Centre**:
Our wholesome, small family-oriented centre is easily accessible with onsite parking and is conveniently located with a shaded bus stop right at the front door and is just 2kms to the nearest train station.

We have a great team of dedicated, passionate educators who are genuinely devoted to quality education and care. This environment provides opportunity to develop supportive and meaningful relationships and a collaborative team approach to all things Buttercups.

**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a passionate part-time or full-time Diploma Qualified Educator to join our wonderful team as a Room Leader.

You will be working closely with other Educators to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for our children. You will provide care, supervision and education on a day-to-day basis, providing input into the daily schedule. You will have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with both the children and parents, providing a supportive care environment. Room Leaders may have the opportunity to act as a Responsible Person at times when the Centre Manager is absent from the Centre, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operation and administration ensuring the provision of high quality early childhood education and care to children and their families.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA approved Equivalent.
- A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- A warm and caring personality.
- You must hold a current First Aid certificate, Working with Children Check, and up to date immunisation and Police Clearance.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Desirables**:

- Good computer skills
- Previously held the position of Responsible Person
- Food Safety Certificate

**Salary**: $64,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Bassendean, WA 6054: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
