**Role description**:
Due to recent project wins and future key opportunities, Arcadis is looking for an Environmental Consultant to join our expanding Environment team based in Brisbane.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Preparing (and coordinating) impact assessments and reviewing technical studies/design drawings;
- Supporting integrated approvals processes (federal, state and local) for major infrastructure (inc. but not limited to; road, rail, energy, waste and water) developments;
- Contributing to the management of key principles of projects including commercial aspects, resources and timelines;
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders on projects;
- Undertaking on-going professional development to maintain knowledge and skills, awareness of changes to legislation and policy and improve technical ability; and
- Providing support to the Team Leader to implement and achieve strategy and sector goals, whilst championing a quality, innovative, client-focused and entrepreneurial culture.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
First and foremost, you are someone who values and enjoys working within a supportive, people-focused culture. You are an energetic and proactive individual and come to us with:

- Relevant degree qualifications in either Environmental Science, Planning or Engineering;
- Demonstrated relevant experience in environmental impact assessment and/or sustainability assessments (e.g. REF, EIS, ISCA);
- Experience working for a management consulting, engineering or construction firm will be highly regarded;
- Experience in infrastructure related approvals is beneficial;
- Familiarity with infrastructure related development approvals (road, rail, energy, waste, water) will be highly regarded; and
- A reputation for delivering high-quality work and building excellent team morale and client relationships.
