Revenue Officer

**Permanent Full Time Opportunity**
**35 hour week with a 19 day 4 week cycle**
**Salary from $59,959.12 pa to $69,552.60 pa + 10.5% Superannuation**

Located in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, 1.5 hours south-west of Sydney

**About the Role**:
The Revenue Officer provides considered advice and assistance to the team and Coordinator and is responsible for ensuring that a high standard of service is provided to internal and external customers /stakeholders and that they contribute to the requirements of the team. The key responsibilities listed are covered by the Revenue team at the direction of the Coordinator Revenue.

**Essential Criteria**:
1.Demonstrated work experience in a finance working environment, with a good understanding of Rates, Water and Sewer debtors and debt recovery functions.
2.Experience in the preparation and review of financial reconciliations.
3.Experience in the use of spreadsheets and financial software.
4.Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft suite (Excel and Word).
5.Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
6.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
7.High attention to detail and ability to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently and to deadlines.
8.Current NSW Driver’s Licence (Class C)

**Desirable Criteria**:
Although not essential It would be desirable for the Revenue Officer to also satisfy the following:

- Knowledge of Council’s Financial Software - Finance One and Property & Rating.
- Local Government Experience.
- Certificate III in Accounts Administration (or equivalent).
