Apprentice Automotive Technician

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team at Werribee Kia. As an apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced technicians while working on a variety of Kia vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow safety protocols and dealership procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

**Requirements**:

- Strong interest in the automotive industry and a desire to learn.
- Certificate II in Automotive (Pre-Apprenticeship) is highly beneficial.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid manual driver’s license or willing to obtain one while under employment

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

Pay: $23.49 - $30.38 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 50 per week
