Group Procurement is responsible for the sourcing and ongoing commercial relationships of our suppliers including leading or supporting RFPs, supplier negotiations, contract development, contract reviews and contract executions.

We have Portfolio Manager roles available right across our Procurement Division - Technology; Aircraft Equipment and Maintenance Services; and Commercial & Operations

In your role as Portfolio Manager, you will lead complex, high-value sourcing programs that require executive engagement. You will lead a team of Category Managers and Specialists accountable for subsets of suppliers. You will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with a clear understanding of the business requirements to make ensure that negotiated supplier outcomes are met.

You’ll have
- 10+ years’ experience working in commercial roles with large multi-national organisations
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or Technology
- Leadership skills with demonstrable ability in influencing, negotiating, managing teams, establishing and running cross functional sourcing projects/teams
- Delivering outcomes in a time sensitive environment, managing change and project management
- Deep supplier negotiation expertise with an ability to engage, influence and lead technology and business leaders
- Financial analysis expertise - ability to develop and read financial reports and financial models.
- An ability to understand any business quickly and demonstrate to senior business executives an excellent grasp of what makes the business function, and to be able to accurately articulate their business objectives and strategies
- Management experience gained in a highly complex commercial environment
- Experience with complex supplier relationships
- Experienced in planning, budget and resource management
