Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. An opportunity is now available for Sterilisation Technicians to join our service located at Nepean Hospital. The role of the Sterilisation Technician is to ensure all equipment being used in Ward areas and Operating Theatres has been cleaned and sterilised to the highest quality.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Able to work a flexible rotating roster
- Demonstrated understanding of infection control principles
- Physically capable of carrying out all duties, including handling chemicals, biological hazards, standing for extended periods of time, lifting, pulling and pushing loads
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
- Holds a certificate in Sterilisation Technology from TAFE
- Ability to work in a busy department whilst handling multiple priorities
