We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead who has worked with Mobile Application teams to work within our Innovation team

About the role:
The team is growing to increase its delivery capability and as such we are looking to bring on board a Delivery Lead who will report into our Engineering Lead.

As a Delivery Lead you will be a key part of the squad’s leadership and will be accountable for the team’s health, sentiment and performance, Using the latest agile best practice methods within your cross functional team, you will be responsible for team delivery of product development and maintenance.

You will have strong experience in implementing agile best practices into your team that foster a strong team culture.

This role will have direct management responsibilities and the ability to successfully coach and mentor will be a key to success.

As a Delivery Lead, you can expect to:

- Direct management of up to 6 team members
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of multiple product initiatives using agile methods in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Managing iterations, scope, priorities, stakeholders, risks, issues and timelines.
- Tracking & reporting project progress to stakeholders
- Using delivery metrics to continuously improve and optimise ways of working
- Close collaboration with product and design to ensure new initiatives are explored, designed and ready for delivery
- Contributing to wider leadership team
- Mentor other engineering team members

To be successful in this role, you will be a detail oriented, outcome driven problem solver who is well versed with working within agile environments. As a passionate leader you possess excellent collaboration, stakeholder management, mentoring and communication skills. Further requirements include:

- 2-4 years proven experience leading technology projects using agile methodologies highly desired
- Advanced experience in agile software delivery and related concepts
- Developed leadership, coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Developed an understanding of web technologies and complex distributed systems especially within Mobile Application Projects
- Developed skills in line managing and mentoring people
- Technical experience in software development projects as a developer, business analyst or similar is highly desirable
