Housekeeping Coordinator

**Housekeeping Coordinator (Full Time) | Mercure Gold Coast Resort**

A 292-room hotel, spanning over 3.5 hectares with significant food & beverage operations, two resort pools and extensive conference facilities, Mercure Gold Coast Resort is an oasis located amongst expansive gardens on the Gold Coast.

Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, we have an exciting opportunity for a **Housekeeping Coordinator** to join our fast paced and dynamic housekeeping team.

**YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE**:

- Good communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
- Previous experience in housekeeping highly desirable however not essential.
- A keen eye for detail and good time management skills.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office including outlook, excel and work.
- Experience with OPERA desirable however not essential.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:

- Working Tuesday to Sunday providing various administration support to the housekeeping leadership team.
- Assisting guests to resolve requests in a timely manner.
- Managing lost property, accurately recording and storing for return to our guests.
- Ordering supplies as required ensuring the department is adequately stocked.
- Maintaining accurate data entry for records and documentation
