Trainer and Assessor- Kitchen Management

**The ideal person for this role will have the following skills and experience**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40116 or equivalent (mandatory).
- Holds SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management qualification
- Proven experience working in commercial kitchens for at least 3 years (Chef, Sous-chef, etc.)
- Evidence of Professional Development (PD) undertaken in last 12 months
- Understanding of the content of learning materials and the processes used in the discipline area and a commitment to maintain professional currency
- Commitment and ability to provide feedback in an adult learning environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Experience with online learning platforms - e.g. Moodle
- Able to work in a Team environment
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills with an ability to prioritise and manage own workload, meet deadlines (KPIs), and adapt to changing circumstances in accordance with organisation's policies and processes.
- Commitment to excellent, personal drive and integrity
- Attention to detail

**What does my day to day role involve?**
- Facilitating Classroom based learning
- Work with the Academic team to ensure the accurate, compliant and timely submission of all assessment outcomes and reporting requirements.
- Conduct validations and moderations in the VET environment.
- Provide support to the students throughout their course
- Provide ongoing individual support and tutoring
- Review/evaluate training programs as requested
- Review/evaluate assessment processes and modify as requested
- Upgrading and keeping resources abreast with changes in the industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Contract

**Salary**: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent (required)

- Australia (required)
