**About the Opportunity**
As the Cloud Operations Manager, you will think strategically about solutions to business, product, and technical challenges.
The main purpose of the role is to review, design and manage systems currently in place and work with technical and non-technical staff to recommend solutions to improve the CCIWA Technology environment. Additionally, this role will lead the Technology Support team.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Influence operational decisions, implement, and manage core cloud infrastructure, develop internal tools, and look to automate processes;
- Manage all maintenance, update, and deployment schedules, change communication and roll-out success;
- Manage the companies practical Cyber Security controls;
- Lead and guide the Technology Support team in the day-to-day operations;
- Continually research current and emerging technologies, lead PoC initiatives, and propose changes where needed;
- Design, document and implement cloud-based solutions ensuring each solutions addresses business and technical requirements; and
- Provide support to the Associate Director, Digital & Technology, as required.

**About you**
5+ years proven experience working in the technology space in leadership with a technical background;
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure;
- Proven expertise in delivering complex technology solutions;
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery;
- High understanding of Cyber Security technologies current with a continual desire to learn those emerging;
- Understanding of Modern Management solutions;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interpret and translate business and technology concepts for different audiences;
- Understanding of Linux operating systems and Microsoft SQL database/Warehouse beneficial.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or working towards;
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or working towards; and
- Police clearance and current drivers licence.
