Chairo Christian School is a growing non-denominational Christian school with over 1,700 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are seeking the services of a dedicated **Canteen Operator** to join the team at our Drouin East campus, commencing in Term 1 next year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and deliver a friendly and efficient canteen service at the campus.

Some key responsibilities will include:

- Operating the campus canteen and delivering friendly service to students and staff members
- Preparing and purchasing food for sale through the canteen in accordance with the school’s food safety standards
- Processing online orders using My School Connect
- Cleaning and organising the canteen and equipment as may be required
- Assisting with canteen money management in accordance with school policy
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Food handling/hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen management (desirable)
- Ability to relate to students and staff members in a caring, friendly and helpful manner
