**About You**
- You are diligent and able to support nursing teams by providing less complex healthcare needs to patients.
- You can provide excellent companionship to patients and their families.
- You are organised, and can coordinate communication between patients, their families and nursing teams.
- You can work in a health related field with knowledge of correct hygienic practices while following infection control procedures.

**What you'll be doing**
- The Care Assistant role is a non-clinical role that provides support to the professional care team to assist in service delivery. Care Assistants will work under direction from a qualified nursing care team member to help patients and residents with less complex healthcare needs. This role can include providing
- companionship, assist with non-clinical tasks, and escalating concerns to nursing team members where appropriate. The role will allow the wider nursing team greater capacity to focus on clinical aspects of patient care. The Care Assistant role is employed within the nursing team under nursing supervision.
