Buyer - Homewares

This company is known for their storage solutions and home organisation products. With 35 stores and franchises across Australia and a booming Online business, they are continuing to grow their footprint and are in need of a experienced Buyer with a homewares background to join the team.

**About the role**:
An opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic and detail oriented Buyer to join the team and grow the product assortment. Working full time from the office, this person will be responsible for the design and implementation of the buying strategy and product lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing product across local suppliers
- Plan and develop product lifecycles
- Collaborate with Marketing on promotional campaigns and calendars
- Identify new products that can be incorporated into current categories
- Industry research to stay ahead of the market
- Attending trade fairs, national conferences and events as required
- Liaise with both Company and Franchised stores

**Experience**:

- Previous Buying experience in the homewares space
- Ability to understand and learn new systems with pace
- High attention to detail and numerical skills
- Reliable and great time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great team player
- Able to build and maintain relationships
