**About the role**:
William Angliss Institute is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Communications Coordinator to take a lead role in developing and executing our communications strategy.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be part of a fun, focused and driven team.
- ** Commencing Salary: $82,134 per annum plus 10.5% super and annual leave loading**:

- **Time Fraction: 1.0 (38 hours per week)**:

- **Position Status: Ongoing**

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Maintaining an understanding of the hospitality, foods, tourism and events industries
- Contribute to the institute’s strategic communications plan.
- Work with the PR agency to initiate and identify PR opportunities and work with internal stakeholders and partners to promote the institute.
- Coordinate PR and media events including developing briefing notes and developing run sheets.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in PR, communications or media.
- Excellent problem solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- An unwavering passion and an ability for developing compelling written and online content.
- A solid understanding of the media landscape and a proven track record in forging great relationships with media and influencers.
