**Looking For**:
We are seeking a skilled Precision Instrument Maker and Repairer to join our team. As a Precision Instrument Maker and Repairer, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and calibrating precision instruments used in various industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, research, and more. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that instruments meet exact specifications and standards.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and assemble precision instruments according to technical specifications and blueprints provided.
- Ensure that instruments are calibrated accurately to meet industry standards and requirements, utilizing precision measuring tools and techniques.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with malfunctioning instruments, employing technical expertise to identify and rectify problems promptly.
- Operate a variety of specialized tools, machinery, and equipment required for instrument construction, repair, and calibration.
- Adhere to stringent quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing and repair process to uphold the precision and reliability of instruments.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and technical experts to improve instrument design, functionality, and performance based on feedback and analysis.
- Maintain detailed records of instrument specifications, repair procedures, calibration methods, and any modifications made to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with instrument manufacturing, repair, and testing activities.
- Stay updated with advances in precision instrument technology, industry trends, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Offer technical assistance and guidance to internal teams, clients, and end-users regarding instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting when necessary.

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Certificate 4 or diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in precision instrument making or a related field preferred.
- 2 years’ experience as a Precision Instrument Maker and Repairer or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of calibration procedures and quality control standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

**Job Type & Salary**:

- The is a full-time permanent job.
- The base salary will be 72,000 - 80,000 plus superannuation.

**Working Hours**:
The working hour will be 40 hours per week.
