**About Woolworths’ Group Moorebank National Distribution Centre**

Our new Moorebank NDC (MoNDC) is currently under construction, and it's set to be a game-changer. Located in Moorebank NSW, MoNDC is the newest addition to the Primary Connect Network, boasting an impressive 44,900 sqm facility that's almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). With this expansion, we're taking Primary Connect's national supply chain to the next level. The state-of-the-art facility will also incorporate advanced automation technology, allowing for faster and more efficient handling of the 12,000 product lines, and further strengthening Woolworths Group's commitment to sustainability and innovation in the logistics industry.

**About the opportunity**
Join our team at Woolworths Group's new Moorebank NDC as an Automation Technical Specialist This role is well suited to a recent graduate engineer who's passionate about continuous improvement and automation technology.
As our Technical Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that the automation equipment performs to a high level and driving improvement initiatives through the product teach-in process. Your responsibilities will include ensuring complete and accurate product attribute data and alignment of product groups at all levels of the Load Forming Logic (LFL) process to consistently create optimised pallets for stores. You'll also be responsible for documenting complex work instructions and technical SOPs. In addition, you'll be coaching and mentoring front-line team members to establish a customer-first culture, and identifying strategic improvements to continuously enhance the automation system.
Your impact will be demonstrated through your exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail and analytical skills, as well as your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with the project team and other leaders. You'll participate in system testing, including DILO, operations readiness, and commissioning activities, and develop comprehensive documentation, such as work instructions, SOPs, and processes.

**About you**:
Ideally you would be a recent graduate in a technical / engineering discipline and/or have experience gained within a logistics and or supply chain environment. As a natural problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skill and a results-oriented approach. Drawing upon your excellent interpersonal skills you’ll have the ability to support and guide the operations team in optimal setup and technical aspects of operations, and liaise effectively with internal and external technical stakeholders to optimise and enhance processing equipment, control systems, and system functionality. You'll also be able to develop and document work instructions, SOPs, and processes to ensure consistent operational outcomes alignment with key performance measures and objectives.
