Our Mungari Gold Operations (MGO) are a cornerstone asset located 28km west of from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving employees the luxury of coming home every day.

About the role With exciting growth happening across our operations, we are now looking for two (2) experienced Health and Safety Advisors to join our Sustainability team, primarily supporting the three underground mines at our Mungari Gold Operations.
- 8:6 12-hour day shift only roster, Thursday to Thursday (or chat to us about other options)
- Full time, part time or job share available
- Residential or FIFO ex-Perth + relocation to Kalgoorlie on offer
- Long life of mine = job security.

This opportunity will allow you to further develop your technical skills, learning and engaging with stakeholders across our mining operations and the broader Sustainability team.

About youAs a passionate health and safety professional, you demonstrate a ‘safety first’ mindset, strive for excellence, take accountability for your work and understand what’s needed to progress safety maturity, psychosocial safety and employee wellbeing in the mining industry.
Naturally, you are an effective communicator (verbal and written), able to quickly establish rapport with stakeholders at all levels. Working in a collaborative team you will be open to feedback, respect other’s opinions and challenge constructively to build trust and create an inclusive environment where everyone can do their best work. You will have:

- Qualifications in health and safety (or a relevant related discipline)
- Underground mining operational experience
- Competent in writing and reviewing management plans, procedures, work method statements and other related system documentation
- Experience with facilitating risk assessments (WRAC, JSA, HazID)
- Experience with ICAM investigations (completion of ICAM training highly regarded)
- Experience using INX and Pronto systems (highly regarded).
