Data Analyst - Ongoing - Full Time
The purpose of this Data Analyst position is to support policy development and data analysis as part a small team reporting to a Manager.
In particular, this role is responsible for supporting the maintenance and utilisation of a range of complex modelling tools - strong excel skills are essential.
The work also includes being involved in policy analysis and development. As such it requires a policy and data all
- rounder who is experienced in:

- understanding quantitative implications of policy views and decisions
- data analysis and translating data results into insights
- using data insights to support business decisions.
- developing and implementing risk analysis methodologies that support children to access kindergarten places.
- supporting the development of data analysis tools that allow for monitoring of kindergarten provision across the state; and
- strengthening internal and external stakeholder relationships in order to drive the reform.

This role involves strong collaboration within a high-performing Branch and Division that is supportive, friendly and passionate about improving child outcomes and driving policy reform.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual with data analysis and/or economic modelling skills to develop their skills and capabilities further, while working on a signature social policy reform project.
