**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- We are a family of four. Mum, Dad, 13 month old baby boy and 5 yr old older brother. We are looking for someone experienced to care for our baby. Our current nanny is finishing up as she starts her nursing career. Days are typically between 7am to 5.30pm but we require a little flexibility as we are both doctors and can sometimes finish late if there are emergencies. Our 5yr old will be at school between 9am-3pm. He has an intellectual disability and will attend a local special school. You may be required to help with him in the mornings or afternoons a little bit but the main responsibility is for the baby. We will have support workers helping with the 5yr old and we will share the pick ups/drop offs so you may be required to do one or two a week potentially. Our baby is happy and healthy but currently requires a little physio exercises for some asymmetrical crawling as his motor skills develop. We employ our nannies with a contract and you will be entitled to annual and sick leave. Pay rate is negotiable for the right person.

**Your Duties**:

- Preparing age appropriate meals / feeding the baby Helping to slowly wean bottles Taking the baby out for walks / activities e.g. going to the library / for a swim at the pool Putting on a load of family laundry if time allows Stacking and unloading the dishwasher if time allows Washing baby bottles Following baby cues for sleep / nap time Ensuring the baby has sun protection when out and about

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- We are looking for someone with experience caring for young children and someone who is outgoing and a good communicator. We want our baby to be exposed to reading and language development opportunities. We are hopeful to find someone interested in a long term position. Ideally you will have a Cert 3 or other proven track record of childcare experience and at least two references we can contact from work within the last 6-12 months. Non-smokers only please. If you have your own car with good quality car seats that is a bonus but not essential.
