Warehouse Assitant

ILS has evolved over the last 18 years to be the largest retailer of Assistive Technology equipment in Australia. We have 60 stores and over 850 team members located in the ACT, NSW, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, and are continuing to expand our footprint.

We are looking for a full-time **Warehouse Assistant** to provide support to our growing team based out of our National Distribution Centre in **Eastern Creek**

**About the role**:
Working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment you will be responsible for warehouse duties in our Eastern Creek Distribution Centre, which receipts upwards of 150 containers per year and distributes goods to the company’s network of stores and online customers.

**Your shift will be 2 pm - 10 pm**

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Manage the receipt and inspection of all inbound freight deliveries to the warehouse including the identification of quarantined or incorrectly supplied goods and the prompt resolution of delivery related problems;
- Safe loading and unloading of supplier vehicles and containers in a timely manner;
- Ensure the accurate and timely picking, packing and dispatch of orders and transfers to customers and other branches;
- Liaise closely with Customer Service regarding the status of orders, investigating claims for shortages, providing POD advice etc.
- Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse;
- Strong commitment to health & safety policies and procedures;
- LF Forklift licence (Desired but not essential)
- RF Scanning Experience
- Good Communication skills
- Good warehouse and basic computer skills
- Excellent reliable work ethic
- Physically fit for the role

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
