**Your new role**

The role is instrumental in supporting individuals on the Autism Spectrum to actively engage in community and skill development activities by leading the development and coordination of a day options and school holiday programs. As the Program Lead, you will play a pivotal role in not only overseeing administrative tasks related to program development, client engagement, and outcomes but also in conducting face-to-face facilitation of programs. This multifaceted position will require your expertise in both administrative responsibilities and hands-on facilitation, ensuring the seamless execution of the program. Additionally, you will lead a small dedicated and experienced team of support workers to collectively achieve the program's objectives.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Participating in the interview and intake process of new clients
- Supporting and contributing to the development and implementation of quality daily program activities for clients
- Participating in a team approach for the planning, implementation and accountability of services appropriate to the needs of the consumers
- Actively participate in supporting clients to engage in the daily program activities
- Providing coaching and mentoring to support workers
- Facilitating innovative and dynamic programs designed to achieve community-based outcomes for clients in line with their NDIS goals
- Identifying training and development needs for support workers
- Creating linkages and networks to support ongoing community engagement opportunities for clients
- Building collaborative client partnerships through providing ongoing coaching, mentoring and advice

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum Certificate IV in Individual Support or related qualification
- Substantial experience in working directly with people on the Autism Spectrum
- Substantial experience in facilitation of group programs
- Substantial experience in working collaboratively with families and service providers
- Significant knowledge of skills development
- Sound knowledge and commitment to person-centred and customer centred practices and principles
- Significant experience leading a team in the achievement of outcomes
- DHS Working With Children Check;
- NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- National Police Check (NPC); and
- All mandated COVID-19 vaccinations
