The structure of the position is Monday to Friday
- Hours 8.30am -4.36pm
- 8.30am -1.30pm teaching
- 1.30pm -4.36pm - lunch and non-contact time

**Duties**:

- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Develop and implement an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Document children’s learning and development.
- Actively working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

**Skills and Experience**
- A completed approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification in accordance with the Educational and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Prior experience in long day-care/kindergarten. (minimum 2 years)
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID 004
- Current CPR HLTAID 001
- Current Working with Children's Check Card
- You will be requested to undertake a pre-employment medical check

**Security requirements and professional obligations**
Prior to a formal letter of offer, preferred applicants will be asked to provide:

- evidence of mandatory qualifications/registrations/licences,
- sufficient proof of their right to work in Australia, and
- sufficient proof of their identity.
- Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination or valid medical exemption in line with City of Port Phillip Vaccination Policy
- Complete a National Police Check completed via City of Port Phillip’s Provider.
- Evidence of a Working with Children Check (employee type with City of Port Phillip registered as the organisation).
