Densford Civil is a well-known civil construction company that has operated in Western Australia for over 30 years. A family-owned business, we pride ourselves on completing projects the whole team can be proud of. We have a low staff turnover where hard work and initiative is rewarded.

We're searching for an Underground Services Manager who is dedicated to their craft and looking for a company who can provide long term tenure. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects across Perth Metropolitan.

The role:

You will be responsible for supporting the underground construction crews on each worksite so that activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively.

  1. Monitor Quality control of internal and subcontract crews
  2. Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and governing body standards
  3. Assist with resourcing Plant, labour and subcontractors associated with underground construction
  4. Liaise with client representatives and governing bodies such as Water Corp, Atco gas and Local authorities
  5. Assist with the development and training of junior underground employees

Your background:

  1. Experience supervising land development/undergrounds/pavements and earthworks projects for at least 5 years
  2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  3. Direct supervision with excellent communication skills
  4. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  5. Commitment to OSH
  6. Construction White Card
  7. Drivers Licence
  8. Pass a pre-employment medical
  9. Have permanent work rights in Australia
  10. Working in the Perth Metropolitan area where you can be home every night
