Overview

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and rapidly expanding provider with more than 45 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant Smeaton Grange Service.

This position is a full-time role – Monday to Friday between 6:30 am – 6 pm (rotating roster).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a rich, engaging, and inclusive educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Support educators through intentional teaching, collaboration, and reflective practice.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the team.
  • Follow Centre Policies & Procedures and the ECA Code of Ethics, maintaining exemplary records and conducting comprehensive program evaluations
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, healthy environment that supports the well-being of children, staff, and stakeholders
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the National Quality Framework, including laws, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre through active participation in our Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Use your voice to advocate for children, families, and the profession, enhancing our service's professional identity.
About You
  • Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation or an ACECQA-approved childcare qualification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check (Paid)
