What will you be doing?

• Support the Power and Energy team with a wide variety of generation, transmission and distribution clients.
• Liaise with clients on their existing insurance programs and generally assist with their queries, researching available products for client needs.
• Liaise with underwriters, critically review quotations and always act in the best interests of your clients.
• Calculate premiums for new and existing business.
• Draft, prepare and process renewal declarations, reports, quotations, insurance manuals, Certificates of Currency, new business reports and quotations.
• Calculate and process adjustment premiums to policies.
• Lodge and manage claims with the support of senior team members.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• To be a self-starter with strong organisation skills.
• To be presentable, confident and professional as the role will require you to liaise with senior clients on behalf of our business.
• The ability to drive change and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Interpersonal skills to build relationships and liaise with clients, the team, and senior management.

You will need the following experience and qualifications:

• Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking.
• Have at least 2-3 years of experience in the insurance/broking industry.
• Understanding of invoicing procedures and file management.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel for reporting.
• Knowledge of broking systems such as WinBEAT is a desirable.
