WHO WE ARE

We are a busy private practice with a strong manual therapy, clinical pilates, exercise and running injury management focus. We are committed to providing exceptional client care, with an emphasis on forming supportive, enduring relationships.

We rely on clinical expertise and teamwork to achieve lasting outcomes for our clients. Our treatment philosophy includes 45 minute consultations as standard, giving our clinicians time to really listen to their clients, understand their issues and implement a thorough treatment plan. We believe in skilled manual therapy and exercise prescription alongside clinical pilates, strength conditioning and education to help our clients achieve their goals.

Our client base includes busy, motivated professionals, recreational athletes and competitive athletes who are invested in their health and keen to see their injuries through to recovery.

We've been restoring movement, relieving pain and supporting active Melbournians since 2008.

WHAT FLEX CAN OFFER YOU

At Flex you will enjoy working with a supportive, collaborative and friendly team of practitioners and admin staff. Large treatment rooms and a fully equipped pilates and strength studio allow you to work with a diverse range of clients including musculoskeletal and sporting patient groups, with a solid referral network of sports doctors, surgeons and general practitioners. Enjoy a paperless notation system, AI to support your administration duties including note taking, as well as the opportunity to use video analysis for running and cycling assessments and rehabilitation programming.

You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package including paid leave, superannuation, and generous financial support for external course work and pilates training. We provide a structured mentoring program tailored to your career goals and development. We will also provide in house training and development upon commencement of your role.

Our clinic is open from 7am - 7pm Monday - Thursday, and Friday 7am - 3pm. As such, no weekend work is required to ensure your weekends remain time for you.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an outstanding Physiotherapist who enjoys working in rooms providing client treatment and also in the studio delivering exercise therapy. You will have the ability to teach individuals and small group pilates and strength and rehab classes confidently with further training and mentoring by an APPI Master Trainer also provided. You will have completed course work in areas that expand and consolidate your injury management and treatment skills, and have the ability to structure, communicate and deliver an evidence based treatment plan for your clients. If of interest to you, the opportunity to train in and provide running analysis and cycle assessments is also available.

You will be joining the team on a part time permanent basis. This role is well suited to someone with a minimum of 3 - 5 years' private practice experience, with room for negotiation if you are more experienced.

You must have current unrestricted work rights in Australia, AHPRA registration, APA membership and professional indemnity insurance.

HOW TO APPLY

For more information about this role or if you can see yourself being part of the Flex team, please email naomi@flexphysio.com.au or reach her at the clinic on 03 9670 7041. We look forward to hearing from you.
