The Role

John Tonkin College is seeking a dedicated, innovative and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join the team. The successful applicant should have high expectations, a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies, and be able to establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment. Applicants should be flexible, adaptive, and able to apply differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. The role may include incorporating current and emerging technologies to meet student needs based on evidence-based practice. The applicant should possess excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to teach students of varying ability levels across Years 7 to 12 in a highly engaging manner. We seek a teacher passionate about teaching the Mathematics program to both lower school and senior school students.

Please note: There is also a 12-month, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possibility of extension and/or permanency from this process.
