Graduate Equity Analyst: A Fast-Paced Opportunity

In our Sydney office, we are seeking final year students or recent graduates who share a passion for the financial markets and event-driven research to join our 2026 Equity Analyst Graduate Program.

About the Role

We rely on our Equity Research Analysts to be at the forefront of market information, translating it into trading ideas that drive results. As an Equity Analyst, you will partner with senior analysts and traders to identify investment opportunities and provide in-depth analysis of future volatility events.

You will be responsible for finding opportunities that other market participants may not be capitalizing on, either by discovering new information or considering existing knowledge from a different perspective. Our Equity Analysts are embedded in a sector-focused trading desk, and their analysis directly impacts trading decisions.

This role offers a unique combination of quantitative finance and creative problem-solving, allowing you to develop trade ideas in a fast-paced proprietary trading environment.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze investment opportunities in the equity and options markets
  • Provide real-time opinions on breaking news
  • Forecast dividends
  • Evaluate special situations such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions
  • Collaborate with derivative traders on investment ideas
  • Perform stock valuation analysis

  • Prior exposure to fundamental company research is advantageous.
