    About The Role

    We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Research Coordinator to support the delivery of research outcomes across the School. This role involves assisting research staff with reports, managing research output data, meeting compliance requirements, and providing broad administrative support as required by funding bodies and external stakeholders.

    Reporting to the Manager, Research Services (or the Senior Manager, School Operations), you'll work closely with the Associate Dean Research and research-active staff, and may contribute to university-wide initiatives.

    To succeed in this role, you'll need strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound experience in research or contract administration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data systems, along with financial administration experience and the ability to interpret and apply policies in a complex environment, is essential.

    To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the University, while handling sensitive issues with professionalism.
    • Confident using computers, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and various data and database systems.
    • Experience handling financial tasks and processes.
    • Able to understand and explain policies and procedures, with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Well-organised and able to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks at once, and meet tight deadlines.
    • Previous experience with research or contract administration, including compliance and related procedures would be advantageous

    Qualifications

    Completion of a bachelor's degree with extensive relevant executive administration experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
