About the RoleAs an Assistant Manager in our Team, you'll play a key role in helping clients to achieve their goals and aspirations while maintaining compliance objectives and supporting the Relationship Manager through credit assessments for Agribusiness customers.

Role Location: 242 Pitt Street, Sydney or 186 Baylis Street Wagga Wagga, NSW
As an Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.
Maintain control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
Act in the best interest of the customer and apply a customer-centric approach.
Proactively develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs.
Provide appropriate solutions towards account maintenance and simple customer requests.
Support the management of a portfolio of Specialist customers.
Collaborate with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needs.
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Customer solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options that meet those needs.
Credit Analysis: The ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors such as character, capital, capacity to repay, collateral (security), and conditions (the 5Cs of credit).
Relationship management: Building, maintaining, and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Compliance and policy management: Identifying and interpreting applicable laws, rules, codes, and standards to create and/or manage policies, processes, and procedures, including how these are organized, reviewed, and communicated.
Ability to support credit approval activities with proficiency in credit assessment and management.
