About the Role

As an Assistant Manager in our Team, you'll play a key role in helping clients to achieve their goals and aspirations while maintaining compliance objectives and supporting the Relationship Manager through credit assessments for Agribusiness customers.

What will your day look like?

As an Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.

  • Maintain control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment processes.

  • Act in the best interest of the customer and apply a customer-centric approach.

  • Proactively develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs.

  • Provide appropriate solutions towards account maintenance and simple customer requests.

  • Support the management of a portfolio of Specialist customers.

  • Collaborate with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needs.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Customer solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options that meet those needs.

  • Credit Analysis: The ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors such as character, capital, capacity to repay, collateral (security), and conditions (the 5Cs of credit).

  • Relationship management: Building, maintaining, and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Compliance and policy management: Identifying and interpreting applicable laws, rules, codes, and standards to create and/or manage policies, processes, and procedures, including how these are organized, reviewed, and communicated.

  • Ability to support credit approval activities with proficiency in credit assessment and management.
