Job Title: Test Manager
We are seeking a seasoned Test Manager to lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for complex finance and insurance domain projects.
This is a pure management role with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, defect governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Waterfall project delivery, experience managing cross-functional testing teams, and a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven environments.
As a Test Manager, you will lead end-to-end testing for finance and insurance projects using the Waterfall methodology.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and schedule test activities
- Manage defect tracking and resolution
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders
- Oversee test teams
- Evaluate test coverage and quality
- Coordinate closely with project managers and business analysts to ensure timely and successful project delivery
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead role within the finance or insurance industry
- Solid understanding and practical experience with the Waterfall SDLC methodology
- Strong knowledge of defect management tools and reporting practices (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
- Experience in managing testing teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience working in or with a consulting organization, demonstrating adaptability across diverse client environments
